imc calibration vs. DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and IATF16949 and DAkkS accreditation

imc is a manufacturer and developer of measurement devices and has the highest competence for their calibration and their measurement accuracy.

We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

You can find an overview of the certificates you receive for our devices here, as well as example certificates.

We are happy to prepare an offer for your calibration requirements.

I need “DKD/DAkkS feedback” for my measurement equipment. Can I get these from imc?

There are 2 possibilities:

  1. All you need is a DAkkS traceable calibration chain of the measurement equipment.

As a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified company, all our test equipment is subject to our test equipment monitoring. Thus, they are safely monitored and the tracebility is ensured via DAkkS calibration chains.
It is therefore possible to order a “DAkkS traceability certificate” with the calibration of your equipment. Calibration is then carried out exclusively with test equipment with DAkkS tracebility.

  2. You need a “DAkkS calibration certificate” for your device. imc is not a laboratory accredited by DAkkS. However, we can gladly offer you such a calibration certificate by an accredited calibration laboratory that cooperates with imc.

In addition, we recommend our factory calibration because it gives you the best overview of the actual accuracy of your device at low cost.

The IATF 16949:2016-10 requires a certified laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 or comparable standards. What can I do?

The IATF16949 and the more stringent requirements of point 7.6.3.2 “Requirements for external laboratories”, further offers the possibility to fulfill this point without our company having to be ISO/IEC 17025 or DAkkS certified.

To achieve this, it must be ensured that we meet your requirements. This can take place, for example, as part of a workshop or customer-based audit.

We would be happy to answer any questions you may have and are available for discussions with your QA department.

Why is imc not IATF certified?

imc is a manufacturer of measurement devices. Our ISO9001 certification is proof of this.

However, we do not operate an accredited laboratory and are not a calibration laboratory.

BUT

We do indeed incorporate the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and IATF 16949 into our processes.

AND

Customer-based audits have already proven that imc meets the applicable requirements of ISO/TS 16949.
