The imc CANSASflex series offers a wide selection of measurement modules, which cover all typical sensors and signals from heavy machinery, industrial installations and vehicles. The modules can be installed in both a spatially-distributed arrangement or as a central unit. Combining modules couldn’t be easier: with the innovative imc click-mechanism, the modules are electrically and mechanically connected to each other – without the need for tools or cabling.

On test stands, in factories or plants, wherever multiple modules are permanently installed as one central unit, the use of a 19'' rack is often recommended.  This allows modules to be conveniently inserted with automatic supply and connection to the CAN bus.

The imc CANSASflex series modules can be quickly connected using the click-mechanism: both mechanically and electrically. Blocks can easily be formed by simply clicking individual modules together without the use of wiring or fasteners.

Measurement modules are perfectly complemented with the new, clickable imc BUSDAQflex data logger. With a simple click, a complete measurement system can be built from module blocks that can simultaneously save all data and provide interfaces to common field buses such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay and XCPoE. Furthermore, imc BUSDAQflex supports various protocols like KWP2000, CCP, XCP or OBD-2.

8 channel differential amplifier for acquiring voltage, current and temperature

The imc CANSAS-C8 is a high-quality analog input module with 8 differential channels that are individually filtered, amplified, and digitized. This enables highly accurate temperature measurements with thermocouples and PT100, as well as voltage and current measurements with a maximum channel sampling rate of 100 Hz at a resolution of 16 bits. The CAN-Bus Measurement Module imc CANSAS-CI8 is a isolated analog input module with 8 isolated channels ideal for the measurement of:

16-channel module for measuring voltage, current and temperature

The SC16 CAN-Bus measurement module is an especially affordable analog input module with 16 multiplexed differential inputs. Voltage signals of up to 60 V (20 V via optional divider plug), current signals of up to 20 mA, Pt100 sensors and any  commercially available thermocouples can be connected directly. Special noise suppression functionality makes highly sensitive voltage and thermocouple measurements in difficult environments possible despite the multiplexer. The noise suppression provided is most effective at low sampling rates and decreasingly effective as the sampling rate is raised.

The SCI16 and SCI8 measurement modules are analog input modules with 8 and 16 multiplexed isolated inputs, respectively. Voltage signals of up to 60 V, current signals of up to 20 mA, Pt100 sensors and any commercially available thermocouples can be connected directly. Advanced signal processing techniques provide fully simultaneous sampling without any channel dependent time delays, despite it's multiplexed architecture. Refined filtering and noise suppression methods allow highly sensitive voltage and thermocouple measurements, even in demanding environments. The noise suppression provided is most effective at low sampling rates and decreases as the sampling rate is raised.

The  imc  CANSAS-UNI8 module  provides  8  versatile all-purpose channels which are individually filtered, amplified and digitized. Module for acquisition of frequency, rotation, position and angle counter signals

The CANSAS-INC4 offers 4 differential channels which can each be used for event counting, time measurement or a combination of event counting and time measurement. These operating modes enable capture of incremental counter sensors such as those used for measuring frequencies, RPM-values and velocities. The switching threshold and hysteresis are software configurable for the purpose of detecting events or impulses for incremental measurements.

16 channel digital input module

The imc CANSAS-DI16 provides the possibility to capture up to 16 digital inputs at a maximum sampling rate of 10 kHz. The data capture can take the form of either single-bit or as a binary word over all the inputs; the module’s input voltage can be set by software to either 5 V or 24 V.

The imc CANSAS-DO16 family of modules provides 16 digital outputs. The outputs are configurable in two 8-bit groups, either as Open-Drain or Totem-Pole.

The imc CANSAS-DO8R or CANSAS-DO16R module provides 8 or 16 relays, respectively, each with an opener and a closer contact. The switching state after starting is defined permanently (“ON“).

The  output  module CANSAS-PWM8 generates pulse-width-modulated signals, either from values sent by the CAN-Bus, or from internally computed values.

This imc CANSAS-DAC8 module outputs the user's choice of current or voltage signals on 8 analog outputs. The desired output signals can either be extracted directly from a CAN message or derived from received CAN-messages or specified functions (e.g. squarewave, sawtooth, etc.) by means of the module's computational capacities.
